1968 Rover200 TC bonnet

Hello all
I`m not a Rover owner at the moment but yesterday removed the aluminium bonnet from an old 2000 TC owned by my father.( Happy memories).
I noticed that underneath it was signed ` Tommy Davies` . Clearly the panel beater who had hand built it.If this is of any interest to any of you guys out there or even family of Tommy Davies. I will happily send the piece on

Hi Murdo, highly unlikely that the signature came from the factory. The P6 wasn't really 'hand built' and the bonnets were stamped out by the thousands. It may have been signed by a former owner or maybe a panelbeater that did some work on it at some point though.
BTW, whereabouts are you and what is the general condition of the bonnet?
