I think I have one of No.40 I'll need the length you want as I have a few of varying lengths. If not you can get them new from SU. Note the standard Rover linkage setup is designed to vary the rate of opening as you depress the throttle in order to give finer adjustment with the pedal for smaller openings. This provides a smoother take off.
The current one is 7 1/2" between centres, when fully extended, but needs to be at least 1/4" longer. As there is around 1" of adjustment, I need one between 7 3/4" and 8 3/4"
A very informative read! I'm planning on converting mine to the Federal spec type (flatter plenum with eight sequential rectangular runners). The bits are the same just rearranged. Thats after I get it registered and change to 4 speed zf transmission....
