I heard anecdotal reports about there being two varieties of spherical bush for the P5 gear selector. Can anyone shed light on whether there are in fact different parts and if there are, please provide me details on the two varieties. All I can find is the one OEM part number of 571933.
Alternatively, is there some trick to getting the bush to go over the ball on the lever. We have one that is being very hard to push on and only being nylon, there is a reluctance to pushing too hard.
Addendum. Apparently, pushing hard with a little bit of heat from a heat gun was just the trick. The new part isn't inherently flexible, but it can be persuaded.
