Just a quick hello, from me
Just taken ownership of my first P6, after many years of longing.
Hopefully we will be out and about next summer, after asking lots of dumb questions this winter. 20231128_160052.jpg

Looks like it was originally an East Riding of Yorkshire car (RH) - so from my neck of the woods :)

2200TCs are well-respected & are pretty quick cars. Yours looks to be a nice example.

Thanks, it was originally on the Isle of Man for 30 years, so only given the current reg in 2003. Not been used much recently, so needs some re commissioning. Notably handbrake doesnt work, not looking forward to that one.

That's interesting - I suppose there would be plenty of unused registrations from around here, back in the day. It's not a major conurbation or similar.

The handbrake may indicate that a refurbishment of the back brakes is on the cards. It can be done without swearing (& relatively cheaply). Great if you have a pit or a lift, otherwise you will need a pair of good ramps so you can get underneath the back OK. A great sense of achievement though when you've done it & it's great understanding how they work :)

Thanks Phil, encouraging words. When i looked underneath, i thought , oh great looks like a good set of pads on the rear brakes. But ... handbrake does nothing.
Ready with the ramps to take a look, and been reading / searching info . Just waiting for a bit warmer weather, to be honest.
