    ROVER ON ICE

Hi Chris, you're right, in the first couple of sessions I tried some scandinavian flick or pendulum as we call it in Italy. P6 has a heavy nose and not easy to have it turning on u-turn, always tending to oversteer if not under powerslided after a while, I was able to master the u-turn technique...

    ROVER ON ICE

It was fun indeed unable to drive more than 50 meters on straight line despite ice stud tyres ( unfortunately limited to 27 mm 200 studs per tyre as per austrian race rules) V8 power should need more traction, even if while drifting at 55 mph I was still in control Now I understand why P6 rally...

K & N Filters, which needles to use?

mine is 99% a problem of needles :) This long weekend, despite rain I was able to check the trick suggested by harveyP6. Pulling the choke did the difference, not perfect but definitevely better. I used 8 new spark plugs and off I went, found suitable road and pulled "the magic" Unfortunately...

K & N Filters, which needles to use?

Hi Ron, would like to use your expertise I am also playing with my V8 bog standard I fitted 2 K&N filters to the end of each carburettor and found out that mix was too lean, despite adjusting mix screw ( up to 2 complete turns) I found out my HIF6 are equipped with BBV needles Hence should I...

    Hello from Italy

We are enough to make confusion here I live in Milan, have been involved in classic Rovers since '80s ( I owned P5s, P6, Range all with V8 power) and considered "weird" in classic car scene I presently drive a '73 3500S Cameron Green. I am glad to be here All...
