Hello again guys, got my holley fitted and plumbed in now apart from throttle cable! All seems to run ok BUT can't seem to get tickover less than 1000, mixture seems ok and doesn't make much difference anyway, throttle linkage isn't connected to anything so can't be that! Any ideas? Timing maybe?

Thought I had it all sorted this morning! Where do I take the full manifold vacuum from to connect to the fitting on a holley carb? Can I just put a "T" in the hose for the brake servo? If not I fear i'll have to take the whole lot off again and drill a tap a hole for it? Please tell me I can...

Quattro, what I was going to do was join the 2 out of the rocker covers and plumb them in to the pcv port on the carb, and plumb the other one (the one that goes in to the crank case) in to the inside of the air filter (another fitting to make!) How does that sound? I had it running briefly...

Hi all, I'm on with converting my p6 from su's to holley and need to change/modify a few vacuum hoses etc, does it have to be made out anything spaecial because I've got a reel of rubber air hose that will do the job perfectly, it's the sort of stuff that we use to make air tool hoses up with...

thanks lads, i've just had the air cleaner contraption off for a better look and it looks like someone has had similar ideas before cos there is a bracket bolted on that would take a cable. also one of the linkage rods has got a lug brazed on that i'm going to modify to take the inner cable. all...

Probably been brought up many times, but here we go again. Has anyone ever done away with this system and replaced it with a simple cable to suit a normal carb instead of twin SU's. My big problem is the brackets that hold the linkage are part of the inlet manifold which is getting replaced too...
