    RSR/Rover P6 Club National Rally, 28-30th June 2013

We had an absolutely fantastic time. It is great to see that there is just so many of you guys taking care of your P6 to sometimes exceptionally high standards. Very inspiring to see how how everybody has managed to make their car uniquely theirs. Here is a view shot of the main car park. Mine...

    Beaulieu 18th May

I went along to Beaulieu on Sunday. Did you guys see the P6B that was for sale at the entrance? That was in even worse condition than the Practical Classics one, but had a rather sweet reg: ULJIJ There wasn't much in the way of P6 gear otherwise.

    £ 16k and doesn't even have a radio :-)

I am sure it is in uniquely good condition and worth top dollar. I am not sure about the logic of buying a car for just over 10k on the mainland and then taking it off shore and expect people actually travelling to the Isle of Man for a test drive....well I guess Jeremy Clarkson lives on the...

    Ol' Rumbly sadly for sale

You really have all the desirable extras on this :D . You might want to sell me that passenger grab handle before selling it  In my eyes the series 1, V8 is probably the king of all P6s. I really hope the buyer will appreciate what they are getting. Good luck with the auction!

    2000 tc pistons

Yes, everything was completely stripped, washed and finally painted. Temperature on the gauge at least was never above normal. Harvey, are you saying the piston design is different from hepolites?

    2000 tc pistons

As Chris York pointed out, I had some experience with JP pistons. My engine was fully reconditioned recently. That included replacing the pistons. Unfortunately the first set of JP pistons seized up on all cylinders. I am not really clear what tolerance was applied initially. I am aware that...

    £ 16k and doesn't even have a radio :-)

Of course I remember now - I also remember being positively surprised that a P6 can fetch close to 11K at the time. 16K probably means that it will not be driven anymore in fear of the mileage taking away from its value....that would be a shame, as I am sure it must be great to drive. I really...

    £ 16k and doesn't even have a radio :-)

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C377839 £ 16k must be a record breaker! Good to see one in such good condition coming to market. Does anybody know it? Must have been at some of the p6 meetings winning prices.

You will love this if you haven't seen it before!

Ok, this might be old hat for some of you, but anybody who doesn't know it yet and is in to cars will love this. C'etait un rendez vous Or simply Rendez vous Important to know is that this film is uncut and not speeded up. It is absolutely original from 1976 at 5.45 in the morning. The story...

    Front too high?

I understand your point Chris. I also don't want to loose the good suspension in the front. What I understand from Ron's point is that by doing the adjustment as he describes it, I would bring the height to where it should be. I wouldn't mind getting to find this out, especially if it brings...

    Front too high?

Does this mean it might be worthwhile loosening the lower retention bolts and re torquing them when the car is not suspended? That sounds like the kind of solution I was looking for :)
