Apart from trim and the front quarterlight, are there any differences between series 1 and 2 wings and doors? It's a long time since I owned a series 1 and my memory isn't quite what is was - at least I don't think it is.

Has anyone taken front seat apart? I need to replace the driver's seat reclining operating lever as it is broken off. I have a spare front seat, is it a difficult job? Any advice would be welcome. Nick

The rubbers on my steering side rod are perished, but the rod is fine. Does anyone know where rubbers for this and other ball joints can be bought? It seems crazy to buy a new component when only 10p's worth of rubber is needed. They are obviously maunfactured 'cos they're on the new ones!
