    Thanks for that reply, but to be more clear (sorry) it is the rear bottom link in which the rear spring sits on and the rear shockers are attached.thanks again gary.

    Hi I,ve just aquired a very early (65) 2000 it has a crack in the exhaust manifold,does anyone know if these can be welded (cast) or am I better off looking for a good second hand one. thanks gary.

    Thanks for the suggestions,when I removed the input hose water was running from the inlet manifold staight away (TC model) so I guess there was no air lock up to there.Followed on with the other method but just a trickle from the metal outlet pipe unless the car was revved up,am I right in...

    Hi everyon I,ve just replaced the antifreeze in my 2200 and I,m left with cold heaters,I,ve bled these systems in the past by removing the top heater hose and waiting for water to run from the metal heater pipe near the bulkhead, but I can,t remember if the car needs to be on fast tickover or...

    Hi john fitted rear shockers today and everything is as it should be at the rear end now,firmer ride and no floating sensation.The shockers are (Monroe originals) part no.R3209 and the very helpful motor factors are Sewwlls phone no. 01642 552019.Hope this helps everyone for future...

    Hi dave I remember those I fitted some to a mk 111 cortina years ago ,they seemed to firm the rear end up a bit.I dont know if they would work on the back end of a rover though,worth a try if you could still get hold of them and were cheap enough! cheers gary.

    Thanks bennet done that today the brakes dont sieze on,but when I reconnect the servo pipe and start the engine the pedal goes rock hard as soon as I press it and the brakes sieze on again. cheers gary

    Hi I have backed off the operating rod to the brake master cylinder no change brakes still stuck on,I pulled off the flexi pipe at the servo and within 5 minutes the brakes where free.any ideas anyone please.cheers gary.
