Did a cheeky photo shoot for an ad in Hayburner featuring our '72S and our friend's '67 Beetle with 2.4 race engine. This is in Stourbridge, near the factory where the Stourbridge Lion was made, (which was the first Steam locomotive exported to America for those who don't know).

I think that I am suffering from a similar problem. It has an LT77 conversion with quite a heavy clutch pedal. 3500s master, not sure about the slave. Should it have a heat shield as standard (I think that it needs one)? I'm going to go down the heat wrap route as it is the easiest option...

After a spirited drive in the 3500S, or when the engine is 'hot' (and after a short resting period), it is difficult to select 1st gear or reverse. All is fine when cooled down again. I am assuming that this is due to the metal parts expanding more than the fluid resulting in insufficient...

Now has MOT. And rear silencer removed and replaced with stainless fabricated section, slash cut like the original. And replacement halogen headlights. Stuck with sealed beams for the inner pair.

Bunch of welding* almost done... at great expense (not just plated over - all rot cut out)! Should have MOT next week... * Not a huge amount just awkward to get at necessitating wings off, headlight out etc. It was on ebay to promote our other items really. Not for sale now as I want to use it...

That's my car! The cable is attached at both ends so it may just be the inner. I have a spare one and will look into it!...

Re: Early 3500S - series 1 base unit? Ringer? That's what I thought at first, but I'm not so sure now. The paint on top of the screwed/ rivetted in plate on the boot lip is the same colour as the base body colour. And it looks like it has been there a while... I get the feeling that no one...
