I quite fancy driving the two P6's as used on the 1973 Avon Tour of Britain by #25 Mike Howells / Kenneth Taylor and #28 Brian Field / William Jones on a track day for real driving skill check out this clip at 37 secs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1KuoitNwD0, Mike is really driving the wheels...
Not seen to many Rovers of late I did see a P5 Coupe in Rickmansworth over the holiday break unfortunately I did not have time to stop and take a pic, however I believe many of you might be interested to see this one owner P5, snapped in San Fransisco by a fellow blogger Jay Wollenwber a couple...
SKK 23 H had no obvious sign of a roof the cockpit had a substantial looking cover over it.
I am wondering how the middle door post stays attached I don't imagine the rear doors are particularly light ?
Thanks KR and RD :-)
Now I know why I have never seen one before.
SKK 23 H seems to have an alarmingly factory like colour scheme for an Angle Grinder Special, not too shabby a job, though I was only looking through a hedge hence only the one pic.
Reading Ricks P6 blog...
I do not ever recall seeing a Rover P6 Cabriolet can anyone tell me anything about them ?
Back in the day I seem to remember Crayford used to turn Fords in to convertibles particularly the Cortina could this be one of theirs ?
Thanking you in anticipation of your responses.
Cheers
