I have new rubber seals for the doors and wings. Originally these were attached by some kind of industrial staples which could penetrate both the rubber and the aluminum frame they are attached to. I don't have any such stapler, so I am wondering what other method might attach these seals . Hope...

Wherever the seat foam is exposed to air, it will eventually harden and turn into a crumbly substance. Same with the foam in the dash covering. Replacing it all now is probably a better idea than partial fixes. Giving you another 30- 40 years of service.

I would add the following caution about using synthetic materials .They eventually deteriorate and change back to original, and/or different chemical compounds. While you may say ,"I won't be around to see that" ,time flies and there you are. In my own work I have seen this spoil an otherwise...

In my experience, any battery over 5 years old is a liability and can play tricks on you or fail at any time. If you need to depend on the vehicle, better replace that battery.
