    Stopped suddenly, seemingly no spark

I was happily driving my 2200SC yesterday, when the engine suddenly stopped. Ended-up having it recovered home. Having looked at it now, it seems I have no spark (first check at the roadside was for fuel delivery, and that all seemed fine). There was no missfiring or anything, and no other...

Fuel sender unit and reserve tap o-ring

My fuel gauge is not working. I have jacked the car up and checked the wires/connections to the tank, and they all seem ok. Checked the power-in cable with a voltmeter and this shows up to about 11v (seems to float up and down for some reason). Plugged the power-in connector on to the power-out...

    Battery box nuts!

    Fuel leaking from carburettor vent

When I say “leaking” I mean positively p*ssing out - it's that much that externally I though it was a water leak. Anyway - 1975 2200SC: there's a "vent" to the front side of the carb, which is hidden (on my car at least) by a bracket that bolts to the carb and supports the heat shield. Could...

    Clutch replacement

Can anyone advise a competent (and reasonably cheap!) mechanic to fit a replacement clutch to P6 (1975 2200SC), in the SW London area? Also, gear linkage is a bit floppy, is this easy to sort without removal of gearbox, or should I get it sorted at the same time? Thanks
