My 72 p6 3500S has a bit of a hotchpotch interior. Its supposed to be cameron green and the interior door bins and other trim bits are from a buckskin interior which it may well have had originally. I suspect the interior was ambla and a previous owner did half a job with black box pleat...

Nope not yet but I could see the lights getting brighter as the revs rose....and the wipers speeding up too, so I called time and shut down. Doesnt look a cheap bit sadly..... Wonder if my 72 Stag alternator is the same AC type? Its making a nasty whine. Maybe I should convert to an ACR type...

Yes thats the setup I seem to have. Presumably something is up with the red thingy then. Can they be repaired in teh time honoured way of dismantle, clean and reassemble? Or is there a modern solid state alternative....looks like I need one of those for the warning light too. Jonners

Hi guys I am just recommissioning this old girl after a long rest for some welding and a complete rear brake overhaul but thats another story. Having fitted a new battery and fired it up it runs okay but I seem to have a red ignition light on all the time and the ammeter charge keeps on going up...
