I've got a 1974 P6 2200TC and will be de-paneling it during the winter to re-rust proof it all. When I put it back together I'd like to fit a V8 front valance. Will it fit straight on without any modification and with the original front bumper?? Or is there more to it?? Thanks John

Fortunately the bleed nipples are spot on. I had them both undone yesterday to bleed the front brakes. I've had a closer look at the calliper's as well and I might get away with a full set of seals, although I wont know what condition the pistons are in until I get them out. Thanks for the...

I've come to the conclusion that both the front brake calipers on my 2200TC are well past their best. Can any one give me an idea of wether its best just to replace them both or buy a servicing kit and recon them myself. And where is the best place to get all the parts from?? Thanks John

I'm looking to fit a full length Webasto roof to my P6. I know that the roof panel is bolt on so was just wondering if it's in the realms of possibilty to find a complete second hand unit. If not, does any one know the rough cost of getting one fitted to the existing roof and if theres any one...

Now I'm really confused. I adjusted the top screw so that the door was at the right height, I then wound the bottom adjuster screw down to take out the slack in the door, then the further I screwed the bottom adjuster down the lower the rear edge of the door dropped. :roll:

Thanks for the reply Ron, I didn't change the hinges over on the doors so I'm thinking that the old hinges had shims in where the replacements don't. I've tried altering it on the adjusters but it just makes it worse. I'll strip the hinges off both doors and check for shims. Thanks again John.

I've just replaced the front doors on my 74 P6 and I'm now having a nightmare realigning them. I've git them pretty much lined up at the front edge but the rear edge hangs very low and catches. If I raise it on the adjusters on the hinges it doesn't line up at the front edge. Is there any...
