The adjustment knob for the windscreen wiper variable speed on my 72 TC ( which is on the steering column) is just a white plastic item with grooves on it. Should it have a proper black knob on it? If it should has anyone got a spare one?

I suppose this has been covered here before but after a tense muscle bending few minutes trying to park up my newly acquired Rover 2000TC I was wondering if it is possible to retro fit the power steering off the 3500 to my car and if anyone had any tips as to how to go about it?
The oil pressure gauge on my 1972 2000TC shows about half reading ( 50 psi) on switch on and then up to 100 psi when the engine is running. I have found the sender and it has two contacts on it but only one wire connected. Should there be another wire connected?

Just bought a 1972 2000 TC and want to fit electronic ignition and possibly a new coil.
Any suggestions as to which make to use and any pitfalls in fitting it?
I have just bought a 1972 2000 TC in excellent order but the oil pressure dial goes up when the ignition comes on and the engine is NOT running. When running it reads 100. I suspect the oil pressure sender which appears to be just under the oil filter with one wire coming from it.
