Have a look for Boxford machines also, AUD or BUD are good machines, usually cheaper than Myford.

Why not just bypass the flasher unit, then the voltage will be steady so your cheap meter will work.

Hi Chris Don't want a full engine thanks, and as Harvey says a 2200 head doesn't fit, I have a spare 2200 engine but don't want to do an engine swap as mine has only done 45K and its an auto.

You say you haven't connected the off side lamp, remember the wires are linked at that lamp to feed nearside, check bullet connectors.

I had a 64 model about 30 years ago so memory a bit dodgy but I think the fuse you have highlighted was an inline fuse under the bonnet branching off the main harness. It is just a vague recollection though.

I wouldn't use the adaptor in the drill chuck the whole thing could thrash about a bit. The second adaptor is for a milling machine and is drawn into the spindle by a through bolt. Either as you say modify the counterbore or find someone with a good size drilling machine.
