Thing under the Accelerator Pedal !

I think it is a spring loaded plunger that works in tandem with the kick down function on an auto box, if you remove it your throttle will open further and your car will do 200mph.

    Getting back on the road

Another thing to consider is shedding excess weight. I once weighed everything I took out of the boot for daily use. The spare wheel, jack, tools, cuddly toy etc weighed over 30 kg ! Only put in enough fuel for the laps you are doing, but don't run out !!!!!

Fitting Piper fast road cam and first impressions.

When breaking in cams I have noticed a distinct change in noise from a swooshing scraping sound to a much smoother sound after a few minutes when the cam lobes start to polish up. One key point is to make sure the engine has enough air to cool it during break in so you do not have to stop...

Traditionally top, then the switch is sensing water temp out of the engine. I would go for an adjustable switch, not a fixed one.

Petition to lower VED for cars between 20 and 40 years old

Every little helps. There are some fantastic cars that don't live in cities that are aging into modern classics, this would add incentive to owners to keep them and not let them turn into fridges.
