ive fitted a replacement 2000cc engine to my 1971 p6 but i dont know what year car the engine has come from. the engine number is 44604412 a, as i am having problems with the clutch now (stopped working) i am having to remove the engine again,the workshop manual states the clutch pressure...

the oil pump is in two parts,front part is the auxilary drive,the rear half that has the oil filter attached is the actual pump.its the rear half im looking for.

ive just fitted new big ends and main bearings that really leaves the oil pump,oil pressure goes up an down when the car is ticking over,only registers about 20 on the gauge when upto temp

is it possible to have a rover 2000 tc oil filter housing reconditioned,new ones are not available .auxilary section is not required as that only drives the pump.

thank you everyone for the advice,im new to this forum,cars have been my hobby for over 35 years and ive never been beaten by any of them,but i am going to have to think about this one,all welding done,but parts are hard to find and very expensive (dont know why). do i make it or break it.

trying to restore a 1971 2000 tc on a budget but having great difficulty finding parts,new or used,at the moment im looking for an exhaust manifold for said car, any help to find parts at a reasonable price would be gratefully accepted.
