£13K 3500S

It is, but you couldn't build one like it for less.

If it's exactly what someone's looking for spec wise and they don't want to do the work then it's reasonably priced

Looks very nice - would have to have a chat with Clive before spending that amount of money though. If he ok'd it and I wanted one to that spec, I would buy it.

I would bet on the body being dead right seeing where it came from ! Clive Annable had done mine before i got it . I'd pay the money for it if i was looking for one , Oh , and if i had that kind of money

My red 3500S has an almost identical spec to this - not a 3.9 but a fully rebuilt 3.5 with the same camshaft, same carburettor, same gearbox (ailing). Rare factory sunroof.

4 Vitesse alloys with the Rostyles in the spare bedroom.

Driver's seat totally shot to bits but rest of interior pretty good. Plenty of scuffs and dings that will get sorted when the car gets its 2nd rebuild - it was last done by Richard Jacob in 1990/1.

A fantastic looking car and I can't imagine you could build a better one for less now. Annable's work really is 1st class.

The red 3500S sold for £5000 or so last year, and went very quickly. Lovely car, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that, even if I could afford to.

I'm half and half on this. I love the car I've got and would never change it. I love that I've personally made it what it is because it was just an ordinary condition 3 P6 before, and I'm steadily overhauling everything. It will be a true end-to-end rolling restoration when I'm finished. I love the experience that's given me, and I would never have bought a fully finished P6 - the intention was always to buy a rolling project.
BUT there are certain cars that I'd like in the future where I would be willing to part with the right money for the right vehicle. Some of the stuff I want would be too long or too costly to restore myself, and I may not have the time. So I really don't have a problem giving top money for a top car. And I have to say, I completely agree with testrider... if this is the spec and model you want, you can't build the same for less. It's therefore worth every penny of that £13k to the person who genuinely wants it.

That is a stunning car but it is a hell of a lot of money too!!!

Having said that I do agree with the comments made in so much as to build something like this you'd be spending more than this cars current asking price...

That does deserve to go to a good home but I feel that a load of people will think that is over priced before even looing into the spec' and what work has been done to get it to the standard that it is currently in...
