Hi all.
This is probably one of the last events of the year that is local enough for any P6 owners within 100miles,ie South West, Midlands,Wales,to attend for a final bash.
I plan to get there early doors to get a good spot for the gazeebo "normally by the arena" and fly the flag for the Rover P6 club.
We were lucky enough to win 2nd best club stand the last time we attended.
And 4 of us ventured into the show ring.
Let me know if you can attend, book via the greenwood site or pay on the day.

...and pilkie was spot on....the sun did indeed shine yesterday!

Lovely drive there and back and, as usual, some fine cars in attendance...

Cracking Auto Union 1000S...although (possibly?) a trailer queen given the lack of underseal... :)

Had a chat with Mike the Alvis owner...that's him in the pink shirt in the 2nd Alvis photo. Turned out the car had been in his family from new, and he'd owned it himself for 48 years. He'd also got a good P6 rear bumper in his garage...so that involved a 30 mile detour for me after the show to collect it! :)

All in all...great day out!

Although maybe not enjoyed so thoroughly by all....SWMBO dozing (apparently!) whilst on sentry-go by Occie's boot!

Pretty sure that Autounion is a trailer queen!!
Was as spotless underneath as it was on top and inside!!
Have seen it at other shows and noted the mileage change,,,not a lot!
Only 4 x P6's turned up today..
Overall it was a far better attended show than the last meet at Easter, and the autojumble was a little better, but no bargains for me this time.

Great pics Stan and a better show than the Easter one by the looks of it.

I liked the DB5 next to an Austin Ambassador!

I would have liked to have come along, but Jane had a carpal tunnel operation on Friday and couldn't travel or be left on her own for the day.

Hope Jane is OK Paul - we missed the pair of you.

BTW - what happened to the trophy that we won at Easter? Weren't we going to share it around??? ;)

Bri.

Thanks Brian, Jane will be fine once it heals - about 3-4 weeks before she can go back to work.

The trophy is on my mantle piece! I forgot to give it to Pilkie when I saw him the other week. PM me your address and I'll post it to you :)
