2200tc engine for sale.

Hi all.

If anyone is looking for a nice 2200tc engine then I know a man who has one for sale.
Still in a car that is being broken as it has terminal tinworm,and can be heard running with the downpipes attached as ive had the 3 exh boxes off it!
It will obviously have to be cash and collection only!
He got the scrapper 2200tc locally as something to learn his mechanical skills on and to salvage some spares to stash for his just in case!

For those of you who may know about Allan Hewitts lunar grey 2200sc auto,he is the owner of this car,and it is still immaculate!

was nice to meet a fellow p6 nut again.My log in still works for this forum so I will start to use the forum again.Don't know when I will get round to removing the engine from the car,but if it is of any use to anyone they are welcome to it.

Welcome back to the new independant Rover forum.
If you need any help or advice just bung it up here,as am sure somewone will have an answer!
Also let us know of any local shows you attend,and maybe we can organise a few members to show up and meet on behalf of, The Rover P6 Club.
Wont be doing the Camerton show tomorrow,gotta get the new rovers last jobs sorted!

We could really use a good/proven 4-cylinder gearbox if there's one attached to this car....will travel to collect!

As far as I know the gearbox is already spoken for,and I have now bagsied the engine as a spare or possible upgrade for my 2000 auto,but if its still available,when I go to hear it run and help remove the lump I will get it and let you know! :wink:
If it happens before the national I can bring it with me! :)

Ian Wilson has come up trumps this afternoon with the offer of a gearbox, so it looks like I have this one cracked, but keep me in the loop Mr. Pilkie as I may need another one shortly!
