Hi all.
I have decided to sell the Rover P6 3500S 4spd manual gearbox I got a while ago when there was a thought of possibility converting my auto.
It came from a terminally rusty running car and seemed to have no issues on a small test drive on private land as the car was not legal,and the brakes were very iffy!
Now as I havent driven it in anger so to speak,I cannot issue any guarantees,but it was said to have been overhauled with the engine,a few years ago,but the then owner never completed the resto,and the car rotted beyond saving.
The eng went to power the sellers kit car but he fitted that with a 5spd.
The V8 engine used in the kit car turned out to be a very good motor.
The gearlever extension housing sadly is broken,but could be ally welded or use your own.
It would have to be collected,unless you attend a show that I go to and we could meet!!
I normally attend all classic car events at Stoneleigh,Shepton Mallet and Malvern.
If you want it,and want me to keep hold of it for a while till we can meet or you or a mate are passing to collect thats no problem,however I would like a deposit in this instance.
I have to dig it out of my shed and give it a clean before I can do a piccy,and will try to do it this week.
The 1st person with £100 gets it.
