3500s classic car weeky

This car Belongs to Rover P6 Club member Andy Chalk and it's midnight blue. The car was supplied to Classic Car Weekly from the Rover P6 Club's 'Car's the Star' database.

Adam Sloman of Classic Car Weekly contacted us on 15th Sept and the photo shoot was done on the 21st Sept. The specialised database, we put in place means that we can react very quickly when approached by press, tv and film producers to get cars into the right place at the right time. If any of you out there want to be entered onto the database, it is free to Rover P6 Club members and £10 per car to non-members.
The specialist database which was set up 6 years ago and has supplied vehicle to various productions including
TV productions 'Life on Mars', 'Supergrass', 'Joys of Motoring', 'The Young Ones', 'Heartbeat'.
Film productions 'Soul Boy', 'Street Illegal' and a drama documentary about Princess Grace of Monaco
Music video for Ben Lee Tylers second UK single
Music album sleeve for the indie group call 'Bell'
Press publications, 'Classics Monthly', 'Practical Classics', 'Classic Car Weekly', 'Classics' 'Classic Car For Sale' 'Classic Car Mart, 'Classic Motor Monthly' and several books.
And finally we have supplied a car to be used for engine sounds for a computer consul game!

At present, we are also currently involved with Radio Four on a project and have supplied another car for photo shoot project which is embargoed at present but will be seen shortly.

I guess my question is what sort of condition does the car have to be in? PAE is a very early series one, but isn't the tidiest of cars... Would be fun to see it on telly though :)

Sometimes I think cars look too good for the time in filming, if you get my drift :wink:
 
are you suggesting PAE shouldnt be seen(just heard) or that it's the intelligent choice ;)

I watch stuff and the car looks better than new, with every badge and accessory known to man.Too much for me sometimes, but just my opinion :)
I like them to look like they were really there, if you know what I mean :|
 
I'm with you on that... I like them to look 'used' as that's what i've always known them as... ( I'd only ever respray PAE if it all really needed a respray - not just to make it look perfect!) I love looking at fantastic refurbishments but I wouldnt want to do it all to my car...
