3500S gearbox.

Anyone got a 3500S gearbox lying around somewhere, either one with problems, or a known good unit, as hard as they are to find, there are still a few out there, or any gearbox parts. I may need to repair one, and although I don't know exactly what I'll be needing, even though I do have some ideas, it would be handy to know if there's anything out there beforehand. I want to avoid ebay if possible, because most people on there wouldn't know a good box if it dropped on their head........

I have two 'S' 4 speed boxes,not sure of their condition though as I removed them from scrappers that I've broken over the years,but they are complete,......in other words,I haven't stripped them for component parts, :LOL:

What I'll do if I may, is ask you to PM me some sort of idea of how you would like to go with this if and when I should be needing parts. Obviously it would be unfair of me to expect you to dismantle complete boxes specially for possibly just a few parts that I may or may not need, so perhaps some prices for one or both of them, and at the time I would have to take the chance on whether or not they're going to contain the parts I need in a good useable condition, and that will depend on what I find. I'm hoping the damage isn't the normal laygear problem, but even if it's not directly causing the current problems, when they come apart, 99% of the time the laygears are shot anyway.
