3500s Propshaft

Ok I probably sound a bit silly now, but converting auto to manual etc, gearbox + master cylinder fitted, went to refit prop only to find that its about 9" short!! Didnt realise that the prop is longer. Has anyone got a 3500s prop available? Do I need the complete prop or just the front half? Help
 
Are you doing all the work converting from auto to manual, using the original 4 speed 3500S box? If so that seems a bit shortsighted IMHO. If you use an LT77 then it's a far better box, and you can use your original auto propshaft.
 
Ok thanks for your comments, Im gonna have to do some thinking here I think. I did consider th LT77, but bought a job lot of items that was required to do the conversion including a 4 speed box. However, TBH I got problems finding 1st gear now its all set up. GRRrrr
