40th East Coast Run - Hull to Sewerby Fields

Hi All,

I was up visiting friends in Hull this weekend and happened upon the East Coast Run that starts in Hull. What a superb collection of vehicles that were entered in this magnificent event - everything from Routmaster Buses to the Bond Bug! The only downside is that there appeared to be only one P6.
However, I met up with the owner (Hector H Sutherland), we had a good Rover chat, and he's got an absolutely lovely 2000SC to be jealous of! Here's a piccy when they left the East Hull Park on the run to Bridlington.

Hector pretty much always wins the best P6 class at our local show. I've had the priveledge of crawling under and around it a couple of times whilst judging and it is a lovely car. :)
 
Thank you for the compliments. There were over 400 entrants in this annual event organised by the EYTCC. We had a lovely run from Hull to Sewerby; it was a nice sunny day and we thoroughly enjoyed the run and the activities at Sewerby.
