Here are some photos of a P6B set up for racing. I don't have any information regarding specifications etc, but it certainly does look impressive,...and fast..did I mention fast.. :D

This is the Team Willpower car which appeared at the P6ROC meet at Crich. Have a look at http://www.p6roc.co.uk/autogallery.asp?folder=Crich 2007 for some more pictures of it in 2007. I did a Google on Team Willpower and didn't get anywhere so I presume they have now folded. As I recall from Crich, the guys who built it were part of the Aston Martin Le Mans team, so it was very properly done! At that stage it was a lot less modified than it looks. Suspension in particular was near standard. I'd like to know what is happening with it now.

Hello Chris,

Those are great pics at the P6ROC meeting not only of the racing P6B but of all the cars.

With regards to the Racing P6B, I assume that its using Wildcat cylinder heads etc. What capacity was / is it do you know?

I've admired pics of that beast before 8)
How you'd smile opening your garage door if that were in there

Ron, I don't reckon the lads who built that beastie would mince about with a three and a half litre motor, eh?
That machine has got to be of a bigger displacement! There are a few pics of it on flickr too. What an aggresive machine! I want one!

Drool... drool... drool.... drool....

Car looks very no nonsense. Not sure if I would want to spend too long in that interior though. No wood "veneer" or nice leather seats :)

The front air dam looks interesting. I assume that the basic idea is to create increased down force at the front of the car. Also, looks like it would deflect air away from front wheels.
I wonder how a similar device might improve a more standard car's high speed handling? Is this a similar idea to the "Police Spoilers" you sometime see people selling for P6's?

Hi Ron, at that stage I seem to recall the heads were Oldsmobiles - they are somewhat deeper than the Buicks and have a straighter inlet tract. Mr.Task - I don't recall the capacity specifically, but neither do I recall it being anything out of the ordinary. Very easy to sort that though.. JVY, yes the spoiler is copied from the two factory racers and yes the "police" spoilers are a milder and more socially acceptable version of the same idea.

Hello Chris,

Oldsmobile heads....very interesting. The capacity might be somewhere between 4 and 5 litres....we shall keep digging!
