Amber Reversing Lamp Lense - What Market Was That For

I bought a new old stock rear lamp unit on Ebay the other day. In the photo's it looked as if it had an amber revesing lamp lense in it. I dismissed this as a trick of the camera, or someone having been short of a lense and having bodged a front sidelight lense to fit.

I unwrapped the parcel today and lo and behold a real live genuine amber reversing lamp lense! Everything else (wiring etc) apparently standard.

Anyone know what market it was for (French?) or ever seen another one?

Hi Chris,

i have seen another used one on the self a few years ago.

Probably it came with a batch of other used car parts from somewhere in Europe, probably Belgium, as this was the country the that dealer used to import spares from.
