And other one. Very difficult!

It is so difficult that I do not remember the solution. My sole intention by putting this brainbreaker here is just to show the things Maths can solve.

I remember a Calculus class when I was a sophomore. The teacher got close to the blackboard and started the problem...

"One day starts to snow, and snows regularly.

A snowplough gets in the road at noon. It covers 2 Km along the first working hour and 1 Km during the second hour.

What time started to snow?"

The teacher spent the whole hour class explaining the solution, filled three blackboards in a row with integrals, differential equations and all the math's stuff you can imagine... and finally he got the solution!!!

But the funniest moment of the day came when the teacher, tired and dirty with chalk dust said...

"But I do not believe it!!!"

Hope you enjoy. Maybe the same problem is explained in British Universities. Did any of you ever hear about it?
