Having had dreadful gear changes on my auto since I got the car last Oct, I finally got around to getting it sorted.
Main problem was finding a garage who wanted to and had the experience to sort out an older box.
Went to Gear Torque on Saturday just off the A6 / M61 near the Bolton football stadium /Blackrod/Westhoughton area.
Expecting just to have a test drive followed by booking it in during the week, they promptly diagnosed the problem as an incorrectly adjusted downshift cable ( plus stuck pivot bush ) and sorted it out there and then.
Couldn't ask for better service.
