Auto lever "brush surround"

Hi gents.
Does anybody have for sale, the little "brush bit" that is in the surround plate of series 2 transmission that goes around the lever?
I am in Aust. Quite willling to pay for postege from U.K as it seems you guys are (relative to us) awash in bits and pieces over there.

Back in the 80's I had an XJ6 Jag and the brushes were worn.
A mate gave me a tip and it worked,,,
Just for the hell of it I tried it out!!
I modified the brushes you find on the beater roller of an old vacuum cleaner to good effect.
These could and still can be bought new and if the cars originals are unobtanium it may do the job!
After all it is the ozzy way!! :wink:

Yeah, that is a part that I thought could be used as well. The prior owner had used strips of pot scouring pads...painted black. The effect wasn't as bad as it sounds, but i think the brushes from a vacuum attachment is better.
