Got my form for Beamish in the mag, sending it off tomorrow. Come on guys lets make this the year it should be for getting your P6 to all the bigger well organised shows. Been to Beamish a few times and is a really enjoyable time. The 3 Amigos even sort the weather out usually :D Hope to see you all their on Sunday 19th May 2013. Their will only be one 50th Anniversary at Beamish. Don't miss out
 
We're rearranging our holidays abroad this year. Beamish is definitely one we're not missing. Gonna make a long weekend of it and stay over in Newcastle.

2013 is the year!
 
Thinking about it. The last couple of years its clashed with our family holiday but this year it doesn't so its theoretically possible :)
 
Brian (Northampton), you will find Beamish is 'abroad'. It is sunny, the locals speak English with an incomprehensible foreign accent, they are very welcoming and a few simple rules get you by, don't wear black and white and don't call them Geordies. (you might get away with Makkems) The food is the same as the rest of Britian. What's not to like?
Oh and once a year it is full of old Rovers.
And don't upset the women, I married one and they have a temprament similiar to Boudica when annoyed.

I have just found out SWMBO has booked our holiday for most of May, despite instructions to the contrary. Damn, see comment about Boudica, sorry guys I won't be there. :oops:
 
Sadly I'll have miss this event this year too as I've already agreed to go to a wedding in Dublin on the same weekend.

Everyone else should go though, it's a great place.
 
I'll be there again with Lady C. Always a great, well organised event this one, plus it's only a couple of hours down the road for me.....which makes a change :D

I shall make every effort to be there, assuming it doesn't clash with uni exams. I've not managed to get to it yet!
 
Hi all just in the process of filling in my application for this event but been my first meet what can I expect? I mean what's the format of the event for the car club? Been scrubbing up my foreign accent check this( wi eye man giz a kannie bag o Tudor) do you think I'll blend in

If I were you I would now wear camouflage.
Always a good day, the lads even sort the weather so it's always the best day of the year weather wise up their, so cold but not freezing, raining , but not pouring lol. It is a good venue plenty to see and do. We will be up again this year hopefully in convoy from Manchester.
