Bolt pattern and offset on P6

Hello!
I need to find 1 or 2 steel wheels for my 3500, but i cant find any information about bolt pattern and offset, does anyone here know that?

PCD is 5x5" IIRC, but can't remember the offset offhand. If you just want 2 standard P6B wheels I suggest putting a post in the "Wanted" section, there must be lots of people with standard rims looking for a home judging by the number of cars on here with alloys, mine included..........

SD1 wheels will fit but are of differing widths, and the valve is in a different place relative to the studs.

The steel wheel which came with my car had an ET of 40mm. I know because I measured it.

SD1 wheels are 40mm

I have heard that P6s are 53mm, but I do wonder why mine was 40?

The PCD is 5 x 127mm (5")

Hello Harvey!
I live in Sweden so buy some wheels from England will be expensive, and these cars are pretty rare over here. I bought it as a little project, but the former owner had fitted it with some ugly slotmags 20 years ago, 4 steel wheels were part of the deal, but when i painted them, i saw that one was wider than the others.

You may have 3 wheels for a 2000/2200 and 1 from a V8.

Got any pics?

I have no pics, but they all look the same (except for the widht) there are no slots or anything in them, the three i have are stamped with some kind of roverstamp in the middle and are about 125mm (5") wide between the "shoulders", the wider one has no stamp at all. I thought that the 2000 maybe had 4 bolt wheels and the 3500 had 5 bolts.

They look indentical, both are 5 stud 127mm PCD, but the V8 ones are just a little bit wider.

No, V8 and 4 cylinder wheels are interchangeable, the only significant difference being the width. 4 cyl wheels are 5", V8 ones are 5.5". Neither have any vents or slots, the 4 cyl rims have a sort of 'double bump' profile around the middle while the V8 rims have a single lump profile. SD1 rims are 6" wide and will also fit (though not with 'S' hubcaps)
Other cars with the same stud pattern on 14" wheels (but not necessarily same width or offset) include some Austin 1800s, Westminsters etc, Some Vauxhall Crestas, and with larger wheels; Jensen interceptor, Rover P4 & P5, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a number of '60s-'70s full size American cars including Buicks, Cadillacs, Imperials, etc.

I just found out that i have 3 fourcylinder rims and only one V8. :(

So now you need 4 V8 rims..............Even more expensive from the UK. Sorry, my initial answer made the assumption you were in the UK.

I have a set of V8 steel wheels off a '72 3500 automatic which I could sell you. I am in Berlin, Germany. I would like €100,- for the set of four. If you are interested I will find out how much packing and postage would cost. They currently have four mismatched old 185/HR14 tyres on, but I imagine you would want them removed from the rims. I also have the hubcaps for them, for which I would like a further €50,-. I do not have wheel nuts for sale.

Hello Preben (tjena!)

There's a gentleman in Sweden by the name of Anders Löfström who has a big selection of parts, I'll PM his number from another forum posting. I also know a Swede located in Norway with about six cars' worth of parts.

Regards,

Tor

Hi
I have some wheels from a 3500 here in Oslo. Where in Sweden do you live?
On the east coast, between Kalmar and Oskarshamn, it´s quite a trip to Norway.

This forum seems to be where scandinavian people hang out. :D
