Hi all...

Following on from the great day we had at Malvern,,I am hoping to try and organise a summer sunday meet up of Pilkies classic-carnuts..
"Its an MSN chat group I started up for fun" ....
So far theres 11 of us from all over the world,US,OZ,NZ,GB etc,,we chat about anything and everything!!!!!
It can be about cars,,cars,, and sometimes cars! even engines!!
And for those times you dont want to use the forum!
It will be an informal sunday gathering in the summer, and will be for who ever wants to come along,,"Rover and TR forum members" And anyone else with a classic vehicle come to that!!
Bring the missus, kids, dog, cat, hubbie! whatever is your norm for family a day out!!
It will be at Bourton on the Water in the middle of the Cotswolds.
I am hoping the transport museum theremay let a few park up in their entry area as part of its display. "depends on numbers", but there is a local pub that hosts club meets, private groups in its carpark!!
Good food at pubs and an excellent chippie and plenty of shops for the ladies.
Birdland, Model village for the kids, lots of old architecture, very scenic!!
Keep an eye out on the forum, soon as I can establish a suitable date with the museum or pub,,I will post details as and when I know whats what.
I will of course try to see that it doesnt clash with any major events!!

See you somewhere soon.....

Regards Dave

..... and what a beautiful place to meet up in the middle of the Cotswolds Dave, good choice

I'm sure we'll get Kev (hermione149) and Dave (BigMoose) to come along too, so long as Gabby has had her head replaced, rear brakes, clutch slave cylinder, welding and MOT sorted by then - must make sure Gabby's ready !!!

I think this is an ideal setting, who else is nearby? surely we'll get Paul (testrider), Stan (vaultsman), Mark (MarkGray - too far from Wolves??), NickDunning (can't be too far from you either), DaveHerns, what about HarveyP6? about time we met the legend!!!

Looking forward to it!

TR or Rover - depending on the weather, and whether Vanessa or Tina has had the most airing over the summer!!

If I can get down from Scotland I'm sure Mark can get there from Wolves.....(no pressure Mark) :)

Now that might tempt a few more along :)

That's shaping up to be a good day out Pilkie. Keep us posted

The Cotswolds are pretty much perfect for classic motoring in my opinion - lots of leafy lanes and pretty villages, so it will even be a nice drive to get there.

Sublime drive down the Fosse followed by a good get-together and chinwag :) Sounds a great day out to me!

Let us know some possible dates Dave, and everything crossed for weather such as we had on Sunday.

Nice one!

I'd be up for this dates permitting! As stan says that's a lovely drive along the fosse way...
