hi
can anybody help need to know what front brake calipers have fitted to my car. 4 cylinder 1971 calipers have 16 pb stamped on the casings having trouble with finding out if they are the type with large or small type brake pins.
new brake pads are E.B.C part number dp169 and fit ok and old pins are ok with these pads. sorry forgot to say they are girling type calipers.

The Rover 2200 pins are smaller in diameter than the 2000 pins. I have a spare set of 2200 pins, which I bought, and should not have bought. Unfortunately they are down with my Rover which is hibernating for the winter in the shed at my rental property. If you can hang on until May I would gladly measure them. I will check my parts stash here at my home, they might be here, but I think the are at my rental property.

The pads are definitely for a 2000 model. Ray Weekley at Rover Classics lists the different pins, so he might be able to help you in a more timely fashion than I can. He might be able to help you in a much more timely fashion than I can.

I found an image for a set of 2000 calipers and they have "16 p" on them, on the Cadone remanufacturing website..

James.
