Brake lights 'stuck on'

Noticed today when I garaged the car (2200sc). Rear Brake lights on with ignition/engine running. Thought I should ask before starting to (try) figure out, just in case this was a fault that maybe had a common reason. Everything else working as should.
As ever thanks in advance for any and all advice

Decided to clean the switch contacts as they were pretty cruddy looking. One lug came off the switch with only a minor jiggle to release the connector, decidedly corroded looking, dammit. So a new switch will be in order, sort of hoping that is where the problem with lights stuck in on mode. We'll see.
As I am looking at this, would I be fair to say that a quick out with old and in with new would not require brake bleeding, or is there likely air going to get in?

Solved: Replaced pressure sensor, all working as should be. Old sensor stuck in 'on' position, likely a bit of crud dislodged during recent flush and fresh fluid, or just old and past it. I had all sorts of fears of draining fluid and letting air in, necessitating another bleeding, but no, a couple of drops came out during the removal of old and insertion of new. No air introduced (no doubt over the top, but filled new sensor with fluid prior to install as figured that was definitely a source of a wee air pocket). Normal service resumed! Yeah I know, talking to myself, but as I only ever saw threads mentioning sensor not putting lights on, thought it worth mentioning they also stick in the on position
