Preliminary enquiry really. Shortly I may need a P6B 65 box, c/w bellhousing (and possibly a converter), selector cable, cooler pipes and dipstick and tube.Condition is unimportant in as far as whether it drives or not, but obviously the casings would need to be in good condition, so if it's been lying around unused for years it isn't a problem, as it won't be going in the car as it is, I just need a core unit.

There should be an id plate on the n/s of the main casing and it will have the type number on it, either 35 or 65. If there is no plate, then a 35 has the bellhousing bolted on with 6 bolts facing forward on the outside, the 65 has 4 inside the bellhousing facing rearward.

i think its a 65
it was ok until i removed it about february time
i only drove it in the drive way mind!
on the id plate it doesn't say much- 015 7246, R115
a long casing number 046506503?
but 4 bolts insise the bellhousing holding it on
if you give me a mobile number i''ll send a pic
can't load them on here
i'm just bad at it!

hi,
if you took the g/box off, them if it is cable driven and has a wedge shape inhibitor then it is a 65 box. if it had three metal rods with plastic ball ends and a round metal inhibitor then it is a 35 box.
