Can Anyone Help Me?

Hi all. Firstly, I appologise if this is in the wrong section, I am new here you see

I am hoping to find a car, or information regarding said car.
The car in question is a 1972 Rover P6 3500S in White with a Brown Vinyl roof. This was my grandads car which he bought new. Unfortunatley he died in 1993, and my Nan & Aunt sold the car on in 2000 (approx.) The person who bought it said that he would restore it and it went to live up north IIRC.
I would love to find out if it was restored and would love some pics of it to show my Nan.

The reg number was 'MUD 16' although I suspect this may have been sold. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance & thanks for reading
Jim :D

there is no record on the DVLA site so chances are that the number has been transfered. whether the car is still on the road is another question.

On the RAC web site is a useful vehicle check option.

If you put the number in it comes up with information if it is valid.

MUD 16 is currently on a Bentley, first registered in 1957.

mainframe,

Is this facility just for RAC members or can anyone do it, If so can you supply the link please?

Mike

If you use the RAC pre paid check option and put in the Reg No, on the next screen it asks you to confirm make and model of car before proceding to charge you for the full report - you just back out at this point

Thanks for the replies guys :)

Finding out that the number plate was no longer on the car upset me a bit, but when I thought about it, it isn't a bad thing. I know it was sold without having an MoT or tax, so in order for someone to transfer a number plate, the vehicle has to have valid insurance, MoT and of course, tax.

So, i'm hoping it's very possible that it is actually being driven and not been broken up for parts :D
