Hi all. Do any of you know of a carpet supplier for the p6? I've had a look at coverdale and although they look good and are reasonably priced, I would prefer to have a set that has the same material. Cheers.

Those kits look awful though. I suspect they won't fit either. There is no substitute for the original stuff.

Does anyone have any idea where I can obtain a new windscreen rubber from. All contacts to date have failed.

I only know of two suppliers for windscreen rubbers.

In the UK Wadhams will sell you one that, at least until recently, has had straight, ie not moulded, top corners. Check with him for current status. www.jrwadhams.co.uk

In Australia Scotts' will sell you ALL the required rubbers with correct moulding to the top corners making them fit perfectly. Importing them is perfectly straightforward, needing nothing more sophisticated than a credit card! www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au

Quite a number of other people will sell you one or other of the two products above.

:O Thanks for that Chrisyork. I hate to sound dumb but I don't know the difference about the corner mouldings. All I do know is that there is water leaking onto the front floor area and the screen rubber seems to be the culprit. I am relatively new to p6's and am still learning' (aren't we all?)

The main windsreen rubber is a channel section to wrap around (and seal) the screen. At the top corners of the screen this channel does a 90 bend to get from the horizontal across the top of the screen to the verticals at each side. With ordinary unmoulded channel section this 90 bend causes the rubber to "stand up" from the screen in the corners; simply the channel sides need to be shorter than the base. A moulded rubber addresses this problem and will lie flat properly.
