I have just returned, ears still ringing, from the Sheffield Arena where I saw a tribute band.

I don't usually do tribute bands, but this was a Pink Floyd tribute band.

I must say that it was just brilliant. Not quite as good as the real thing that I saw in 1994 at Earls Court, but fantastic all the same.

They should leave the kangaroos out of it though - bit much that :shock:

I saw tribute band 'The Doors Alive' at Sheffield a few weeks ago - brilliant with a great atmosphere in the crowd. Would see them again without hesitation!

Only other trib band I've seen is 'The Cavern Beatles', but again, really good.

I once saw an Eagles tribute band & I thought they were terrible (insert cringe smiley) but on the other hand I went to see that guy who does the Roy Orbison story way back when he first kicked off & he was brilliant 8)
