While having my car MOT'ed today, the tester commented on the fact that the bleed nipple was located below the bridging pipe on the LHS rear caliper. He called it strange, as air rises and "you'd be hard pressed to get any air out" when it is located lower than the feed. A fellow P6 owner stopped by and agreed with the tester. The workshop manual, however, says it's correct. Is this why the rears are known to be hard to bleed? Can the feed and bleed nipple be swapped over without adverse braking effect?
