Crank bearings

Hello all, I really need a bit of help and advise, car is a p6 2000 tc.

I have the sump off at the moment and have dropped a big end and main cap to check bearings, and both sets need changing.

I cant find any information on the numbers, Big end -- 530536 4600B
Mains --- 534188 4597B

Ive checked parts book but numbers dont seem to appear.

Any help on this would be great as Im in limbo till i can match up the numbers.

Be sure to check both sets for sizing, ie, STD or + 0.??"
 
HI,I checked and double checked the shells, and the only markings on them were the above numbers and the vandervell stamp.

Chalky, thanks for the Thorntons phone number, I rang them straight away and caught them just before they closed, spoke to a very helpful sales man who certainly knew his job, he checked my numbers and confirmed that they were both Rover/Vandervell standard shells.

They had the Mains in stock, but no big ends, ordered the Mains, and they arrived 0915 this morning !!!!!!!!

I have now ordered a set of standard big ends from Wadhams, ( not expecting them overnight, normally about 10 days).
