$ Cylinder manifold wanted/needed!!

Hallo all,
Does anyone have for sale, or swap maybe, an exhaust manifold for a 2000 TC?? Mine has a blow in it near the joint onto the mating flange. I could get this brazed but finding someone local, or even not so local is proving difficult. I`ve repairedit with the usual gunk 2 or 3 times now, which lasts for a couple of hundred miles, but sooner or later.....

I made the same enquiry a couple of weeks ago. No joy. Are the SC manifolds the same as the TC's?

I believe the SC manifold is completely different, being a cast affair, whereas the TC's are tubular, hence they crack a fair bit, I welded mine up a few times.

Wish you lived here in the states. I had a local pipe man weld in a new tubular section in the same place on mine, and he did a wonderful job for about $30 US.

Are the SC manifolds the same as the TC's?

No they're totally different, and can't be interchanged because it's the cylinder heads that are different as well as the manifolds and frontpipes.

The only way around it if TC manifolds become unavailable is convert to SC but that defeats the point of having a TC in the first place.

TC manifolds have always been expensive even when the cars were current, now that there are fewer about it's even less likely that they will be remanufactured cheaply.
