A family member has just offered me an excellent condition modern motor, with 12 months ticket. And it's free, gratis and for nothing.
I still want a P6 but She Who Must Be Obeyed is making dark mutterings about things that could be done with the money that I'd spend on the Rover. And in a way, I know she's right, there's a lot of things we could do with those few hundred quid.
But the worst thing, is as soon as the Rover let us down, even if it was just a fanbelt, I'd be getting it in the earhole for weeks...
So, for a while at least, it seems I am destined to worship from afar :cry:
