maybe we could get some on board footage or pictures from the members on drive it day, post it on youtube or something similar and post a link from the forum??? obviously all footage must be filmed safely and within the relevant laws, but it may be interesting even if it is the daily commute to see Rover's being used and enjoyed. Do you think that's viable??
Well said Phil, my other half has a 2000SC she uses as a daily driver, although it's not daily at this precise moment on account of the brake servo filling up with brake fluid. They do need a bit of love and attention (cars, not the other half) but it's a pleasure when everything is working as it should (hang on, maybe I am talking about the other half???) I'm gonna quit typing this in case she see's me, I know my place
You should also find a few events especially planned to coincide with Drive It Day. This year, we went to the Vauxhall Heritage Centre in Luton which had a special Classics parking area (made it a small show!), and if you turned up in your classic, entry was free.
