I intend to - my engine needs more breathing anyway.
I have to wonder why someone would spend over £6.5K on an engine including tubular headers and custom made 2:1 large bore front section, only to connect it up to a standard small bore 3500 centre and rear box.
But then I tested the anti freeze level the other day and found that the advertised, "JR Wadhams high capacity 3 row radiator" only has two rows
Thanks for the measurements, I will be out there in a mo with the tape.
You'll be alright through the winbter with a two row. Come the summer if you feel the need for a bigger rad there are two options. Your local rad repair shop will be able to slip a three row core into your existing rad at remarkably moderate cost. They don't need to know what the rad is for, they go on the core size. The other option is much more expensive but much more satisfying. Alan at Classeparts does an aluminium high capacity radiator. This is somewhat lighter but also much more structurally sound. That means you can miss out the bolted in radiator cross member from under the rad and gain further weight plus space to lay up oil collers etc.
