Hi All,
Its just a query at the moment so how much realistically would my 2x P6s be worth ie a 1971 P6b with good SD1 engine fitted base unit (rotton) spares only and my 1969 P6b all welded to a high standard with solid panels etc just needs putting back together. There are 2x 14inch Rotyles on the 71 which are in very very good condition with NO visible rust or curbing it has a very very good rare i think :? cream brushed nylon/velour boxpleat interior. Both cars owe me £550 but what i am really after is an early series 2 P6b i am not going to mess about changing S2 clocks into the S1 as i first considered and ruin the S1s originality and its a lot of blo=dy work  So come on honest opinions unless of course there is a S2 P6b owner who fancies a swap for my two P6bs i may even consider a swap for speed boat etc etc and put off getting an S2 P6b until next year please p/m me

dodgy to answer really but its worth whatever you can get for it!
i'd be interested but too far away
also i have 2 series 1's to play with.
one of which could be mot'd next week!
it won't pass mind you but it gives me incentive!
back to price and test the water on ebay?
chuck them on and see what happens.

I'm very afraid that p6's sans MoT are not worth a lot unless there is something very exceptional about them. Perhaps £100 to £500? A stripped car is also a no-no for most people - they just won't look at it whatever the price. There is some rationality to that. The fact that it is stripped proves there was something wrong with it. Has it been fixed to the potetial purchasers satisfaction? Are all the bits really there to put it back together? Both unlikely given that the reason the car is for sale must be that the restorer lost interest / got pee-ed off with it; in either case they are unlikely to have taken the care to look after last two comments.

Sorry

Chris

I agree with Chris' comments. I've just picked up a newly MoT'd '72 P6B for just over £500, and drove it back from Edinburgh without any problems. All I'm doing now is replacing all the engine hoses, new tyres and swapping the fibreglass front wings for metal ones. A perfectly useable daily driver..

..which means that even with the rare interior and two Rostyles, I wouldn't offer more than £200 for both. It really isn't a sellers' market these days

That said, are you interested in selling the two Rostyles? I've only got four on my car, and wouldn't mind a spare or two..
