Lifting

What is the best way to sling the V8 engine? Mine has got 3 lifting eyes, do I use them all or just two in angle or just the rear two? Engine will have to come up in angle to allow for transmission to be lifted along with it. Any sugestions?

Not entirely sure which eyes to use, but to help get the engine out you should jack up the rear of the car as high as possible, this helps to angle the engine and box out with the crane.

If your just removing the engine (without the gearbox) then this doesn't matter.

I have used the one by the dizzy, and the diagonal to this. That worked fine to me. And I also jacked up the rear of the car to help the gearbox out.
