MEETING IN BRISTOL AREA?

Is there a regular monthly meeting in the Bristol area?
I have tried contacting the Regional Organiser listed in the P6 NEWS with no success and our membership secretary tells me that this RO has not renewed his membership for the past two years.
There may be very good reasons why communications have broken down (letters lost in the post - millions do!) but if you attend such a meeting then please contact me with details of your RO.

As a (rather belated) follow-up to this query, The Bristol Branch no longer meets in the venue and on the dates stated so it has been removed from the map on this website and the club magazine. However, if some brave soul wishes to re-start this meeting I would be pleased to hear from them.

I believe I posted a while back about my interest in starting a new meet in the Bristol area, but never got round to finalising anything due to life getting in the way :D Well not much has changed, and I`m still interested but not being from these here parts, I`m not sure where is an appropriate place. Where were they held previously? I don`t have a `local` as such. The pub I frequent most is The Fleur, near where I work in Pucklechurch, that any good? I know `Pilkie` will be up for it! I work shifts, so will have to look at the state of play for May when I go back on Friday. Watch this space, who knows, this Thursday is looking pretty good for me :p

Most of you know I'm based in Bristol too, and have given thought to running a Bristol meet. But like you I'm pertty unpredictable, so not the best person to have as a front. When I'm back from Thailand at the beginning of June why don't we start with Pilkie, Drew and me meeting for a pint and see if we can get something going from there.

Anyone else interested?

I would be up for a social monthly meet! I would suggest either the 1st or last sunday of the month at lunchtime,
somewhere nice in the country thats not to far for a jaunt out!
By a river,canal etc.
I remember 2 pubs,side by side, by the river avon in hanham got good parking to!.
Couple by the river in Saltford as well! I dont drink,but a pint of OJ would do for me!
Any body else in the Bristol/Bath,southwest locality up for it??

Hello each,
just a reminder from the Feb 2007 P6 NEWS where I was pleased to say that I had been contacted by Les Lindhop regarding a Rover meeting in the Bristol Area.
Last tuesday of the month at the White Hart in Cold Aston.
I don't have a 'phone number for Les so one of you local chaps ought to try this venue and let us know if it is still taking place.
